We are getting so close to our fundraising goal! The teachers, staff and their family members, parents and members from the village of Barons have been working very hard in the past few weeks to raise the money needed for our playground. At the Tin Man Triathalon last weekend we raised $2400, and on the same day in Nobleford we made $1000 at the garage sale! Our Burrito supper and gift basket raffle made $2200 and we collected $986 from our bottle drive! To date we have also made $700 selling beef jerky, so in the past three weeks we have raised $7286...Amaaaazing!
We have been very appreciative of all of the donations from businesses and hope that a few more will help us out. The countdown until build day sure is on and we will be at the Lethbridge Farmer's Market this Saturday, June 9th selling more beef jerky along with some tasty baked goods supplied by our wonderful parents!
We would also like the opportunity to mention that we have received $15 000 from the Lethbridge Community Foundation, $10 000 from parents and $32 286 from hot lunches over the past few years. Can you even believe it?
